I wanted to take a moment to express my heartfelt gratitude to the Most High for granting me the privilege to host an incredible outreach in commemoration of my birthday. It was a memorable engagement, and I couldn’t have asked for a better way to celebrate my special day than “Reaching Out for Greatness.
The outreach was targeted at “teaching them how to catch fish rather than giving them fish.” Our focus was on taking them through one of the 21st century career skillsets, which is digital literacy.
I was genuinely touched by the number of students who attended and participated in the outreach. The positive energy and enthusiasm in the room were contagious, and it made the entire experience even more special.
We visited Markings School and Joliat Model College in Ojo, Lagos. During the course of learning, we realized how passionate they are. Their energy inspires us to do more by going beyond what was planned. Perhaps we can’t withstand reaching out to their passion alone without extending the gesture by facilitating their career. To God be the glory, a total of five students from both schools will be sponsored on their Career Skillset sojourn.
Furthermore, I would like to express my gratitude to all those who made me feel special on my birthday. During the outreach event, it was evident that a lot of thought and care went into selecting each element, and I am incredibly grateful for everyone’s hard work and dedication. Thank you, @akinrinlemololuwa, @avisuals24, @psalm, @Whetedo Henry (President), and @stesalasu. Lagos State University, amongst others, thanks you so much for your unwavering effort, staunchness, zeal, and commitment in facilitating this outreach.
Lastly, I want to thank people who personally appreciate me with wonderful birthday gifts. It was an unexpected and incredibly thoughtful gesture that touched my heart. Your generosity and friendship mean the world to me, and I feel truly fortunate to have someone like you in my life.
